As of 2pm on July 31, 2020: Coral Gables remains under a Tropical Storm Watch.

  • Restaurants with outdoor dining must bring all tables, chairs, umbrellas, and signs indoors by the close of business today. Food establishments can remain open for takeout and delivery.
  • Until further notice, parks and recreational facilities will close as of 8pm today, Friday.
  • Do Not Trim Your Trees: Now is not the time to trim trees. Please do not place trash or landscape waste in the swales unless today is your scheduled pick up day. There are no further trash pickups, other than those scheduled for today. Leaving trash or landscape waste in the swale can become a danger during a storm and / or complicate response.
  • Sanitation Services: Regularly scheduled garbage an trash pickup will continue throughout the day.
  • Code Enforcement officers have been visiting construction sites throughout the City providing information on securing job sites.
  • The Passport Office will be closed on Saturday, August 1st

The City continues to monitor the path of Hurricane Isaias. For information on preparing for a storm, download the Hurricane Preparedness Guide: https://bit.ly/33e9vUs
